Today depending on where you are, it’s the longest day of the year or the shortest day of the year.
Before the pandemic hit I didn’t notice things like the solstice. To me, these were things that maybe farmers paid attention to.
However, once I unplugged from the bustle, tuned in to the world around me, and got more present, I was reminded that there is a rhythm to life that has existed long before humans.
We can either pay attention to how time is passing, or it will continue to fly by, with the risk that we wake up one day wondering how we got here.
If it’s the shortest day for you, remember longer days will come and dark days will end.
If it’s the longest day for you, remember it’s never too late to start working on those goals you have or to start going the things that “make your soul grow.”
