I’ve written about my pug Greta on here before. She’s getting pretty old now, and slowing down.
Every morning I take her for a short walk. She gets very excited as we head out the door, and with a burst of energy runs for a few feet down the street. She can usually keep up this energetic pace for about 2 blocks.
However, the rest of the short walk entails many breaks to stop and rest.
She always makes it back even if it takes a little longer and all the other younger dogs race past her, and each day she begins again with the same enthusiasm.
Whatever you might be working on in your life, it’s not how you start or how long it takes that matters, just that you keep going.
