Dangerous Procrastination
Long-term procrastination is much less visible and much less talked about[...] And it can be the source of a huge amount of long-term unhappiness, and regrets. - Tim Urban
Why do we put off our goals and dreams?
Why can we meet deadlines, cram, or power through when it comes to work but not our personal development?
Tim Urban gave a Ted Talk about procrastination, and although the topic is often laughed off, it becomes dangerous when we don’t have deadlines imposed on us. It can result in us letting time pass with the assumption that there will always be a “tomorrow” to get to it.
Give the talk a listen and seriously consider how much time you have used up. How much time do you have left? And what are you going to do with it?
If you decide you’re done waiting, putting off your goals, and spending the time getting clear about what really matters to you, join our upcoming Leadership Mastermind. We extended the deadline once, but doors will close on April 26, so time is running out.
What could change for you in just 3 months?
Is it time to take action today and invest in yourself (hint: the answer is yes)?
Are you going to make major moves to accomplish something big today, or will you save that for tomorrow?
My personal suggestion? Don't wait.
